PLACE
St Mark's Church Archers Rd as usual in the smaller hall ( adjoining the one we usually use.)
The sessions can be more spontaneous without pressure each night to learn the songs to be ready for a performance. SONGS We will continue to sing a lot of the old favourite Blue Sky songs as well as learning new songs, but not the big complex songs we sometimes learnt in Blue Sky . I need to teach the songs that I love to make it work, so here's to more songs for the earth celebrating different cultures and ourselves and our communities , songs with glorious spine tingling harmonies songs to get us up dancing, songs to make us smile And we will sing them to the best of our ability so that we can lose ourselves in the music . Suggestions for songs welcome. If any of you want to teach a song that will be great. TEACHING we will not have formal leaders for each part So a big thank you to Pauline Alison and Ann and Madge who have taken on these roles in the past . Hopefully they will continue but without that responsibility. Everyone can take the lead! You are well able to.
So hope to see you and your friends and relations next Thursday (29th September) In the meantime Pauline's Glorious Choirs are performing at Music in the City on Saturday 24th September at Holyrood Church, 12 noon to 1.50pm , Maybe see you there and then lots of great home grown music all around the town for the rest of the afternoon. You can find more info on Facebook or Google it or just take pot luck as you wander the streets , go where your ears take you. explore corners of the city you've never been in before. Programmes will be available at Holyrood. Looking forward to singing again Maggie
