- Be there for 9.15 ish ready for 9.30 rehearsal
- Looks good fun > "a bit of a flash mob".
- We will be singing Bamba le la as our “Celebratory song” If you haven’t done it before it is an South African song meaning “never Give Up” . it is catchy short dance'y and easy to learn.
- We will practise it on 7th and 14th February so as to be ready and sparkling for 16th.
- The words are "bamba le la" and "never give up", thats all.
- I will have a list with me on Thursday at Hedge End Peace event. Please put your name down.

Message about Nuffield Birthday Party from the organisers:
"We’d love you to come and sing a celebratory song of your choice during our street party in the Square in the morning, as well as joining in a mass singing of Happy Birthday at the end.
We are inviting the choirs in from 9.00am for a 9.30am rehearsal with everyone before the event. This will take at least an hour to co-ordinate and rehearse, and then we will be preparing for the event at 11.00am in the Square, with an 11.30am kick off.
We envisage 8 – 10 local choirs being involved and the performance of your celebratory song will take place at a given point in the street party. So it makes sense to find out what you think you’ll be singing so there are no clashes!
The street party will have community groups, choirs and dancers all mixed up together, either seated at our tables or standing in the audience, ready to pop up and perform unbeknownst to the community guests and audiences. We are estimating that there will be 300 people to sit at the tables and hopefully a few hundred more as audience. It will be a fun informal event lasting about 45min to an hour, and followed by party food, activities and tours in the building afterwards. The event will be over by about 1.30pm as we then have to ready ourselves for the 2.30pm matinee of The Shadow Factory."
