Peace 2020
As with 2018 and 2019 Blue Sky choir won't be performing at Space for Peace at Winchester. However, we will be still focusing on a reflective and peaceful start to the year. Blue Sky will be joining with Harmonise Choir in Hedge End for "Peace 2019", on Thursday 26th March 2020.
The idea behind Peace 2020 is for us to have an evening of quiet contemplation and share songs for peace. We could reflect on how we individually can do our bit to influence the bit of world immediately around each of us.
The venue for Peace 2020 is St Johns Church, St Johns Road, Hedge End SO30 4DU. Thank you to Victoria and Karen from the evening choir for facilitating this for us. We will meet there at 1930 - 2130 on Thursday 26th March 2020 instead of the normal Blue Sky rehearsal to sing reflective peace songs and then adjourn to the next door hall for refreshments. Please bring cake to share.
Songs for Peace 2020
Please do not share these resources with friends / other choirs etc. People outside Blue Sky should source their materials direct so that composers of songs and arrangers are rewarded and supported in their work. Consult Maggie and Pauline as to the best way to do it. TBD
